Donner Mine Camp, Inc, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation available to all recognized charitable and educational organizations, with youth camping programs. Donner Mine is a beautiful and safe retreat for any group hoping to leave that day to day grind for some peaceful and wide open wilderness.

Our campgrounds and old mine buildings are spread out over the 17 acre facility, bordering the Bear River.  The campgrounds have handled up to 300 people and has 30 separate campsites.  Most sites have a fireplace or cook stove, table and nearby water, restrooms and showers.  A large outdoor picnic area with a BBQ and cook stove is also available for group gatherings.

For our campers who prefer the indoor life, Donner Mine also has a Main Lodge, where up to 120 miners once stayed, a lobby with fireplace, a full kitchen, and dinning facilities that can feed up to 150 at a seating.  The dorm area of the Lodge is limited to 60 people and is somewhat rustic, with bunk beds, restrooms and showers.  There is also the Change Building, that carries additional indoor sleeping areas.  This building will hold up to 60 people in its 2 sleeping areas and is very rustic.  It is equipped with bunk beds, fireplace, restroom and showers.
