About Us
Donner Mine Camp, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting recognized charitable and educational groups. Nestled in the heart of nature, Donner Mine offers a beautiful and safe retreat for those looking to escape the daily grind and immerse themselves in the tranquility of wide-open wilderness.

Our 17-acre facility features sprawling campgrounds and historic mine buildings along the scenic Bear River. With the capacity to accommodate up to 300 people, we offer 30 separate campsites, each equipped with a fireplace or cook stove, picnic tables, and easy access to water, restrooms, and showers. A large outdoor picnic area with BBQ and cooking facilities is perfect for group gatherings.

For those who prefer the comforts of indoor camping, the Main Lodge—a former residence for up to 120 miners—provides a cozy lobby with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and dining facilities that can serve up to 150 guests. The Lodge’s dormitory area, which can host 60 people, embraces a rustic charm with bunk beds, restrooms, and showers. Additionally, the Change Building offers more indoor sleeping options for up to 60 guests across two rustic sleeping areas, complete with bunk beds, a fireplace, restroom, and showers.
